It's definitely the season to be jolly as Surfers Paradise prepared something special for the whole family. Don't miss out and head over to Surfers Paradise on December 18 because the annual Carols on the Beach is back to spread some cheer this Christmas season.

The program will start at 6:30pm. Be there early and don't forget your picnic blanket so you can watch the region's largest Christmas carol extravaganza comfortably.

It will be hosted by Charli Robinson, former Sea FM announcer and Hi-5 star. Join her and the talented roster of Aussie artists performing this year. Catch Brittney Green, Georgie Gillings, Mischief, Peter Murphy, Russell Francis and Tom Gillinder sing your most loved Christmas songs.

Moreover, Australia’s favourite bear is going to drop by. Taking centre stage is Humphrey B Bear, the fun-loving bear who celebrated his 50th anniversary last year. Blinky Bill, the adventurous young koala of Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary is also attending Carols on the Beach. But that's not all because everyone's favourite man in red is also making an appearance. Say hello to jolly old St. Nicholas as he pass by. To mark the end of Carols on the Beach, get ready for an amazing fireworks display.

To give way for the event, road closures will be implemented by 6pm at the Esplanade between Hanlan Street roundabout and Soul roundabout. If you want to avoid traffic and all the hassle, make sure to book a Gold Coast accommodation near the area.
